Russia’s invasion of Ukraine necessitated the creation of an expanded area of Ukrainian legislation: compliance with martial law and its accompanying instructions.
These new rules directly impact Ukrainian companies’ labor regulations, setting forth detailed conscription requirements for full-time employees and possible reasons for exemptions from conscription, and require implementation of mandatory public safety guidelines, as well as imposition of the additional military tax of 1.5% on individuals’ income.
