Maksym Koval is a registered Patent and Trademark Attorney of Ukraine.  He specializes in protection of IP rights, including registration of inventions and utility models, industrial designs and trademarks, IP portfolio management.

In particular, Maksym provides strategic advice on registration and transfer of defense-related dual application technology, IP due diligence in M&A transactions, structuring sophisticated IP/IT transactions, licensing, and franchising. 

He also represents clients before the Ukrainian Intellectual Property Office (the UANIPIO) and other state bodies and private entities in administrative and legal actions related to IP protection and enforcement.
