- About Jason Jay Smart
Jason is one of the top experts in post-Soviet politics and national security adviser, whose experience reaches across four continents. He specializes in applying quantitative and qualitative data analysis in the development of offensive and defensive political strategies.
Prior to joining Frishberg & Partners, Jason has advised presidents, parliamentary parties, governmental bodies, and served as an outside expert on the development of a national constitution.
During his tenure as Ukrainian national security advisor, Jason received numerous awards and commendations, including the following:
- “The Medal of Merit and Valor in Service to the Military (3rd Degree),” awarded by the leadership of the United Armed Forces of Ukraine
- Certificate of appreciation for “important contribution and efforts to provide continuous assistance to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” signed by Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR)
